Change how paragraphs & fonts look
You can use the toolbar at the top of a document to:
- Edit and format the text and paragraph spacing
- Modify the font and background color
- Bold, italicize, underline, or strikethrough text

Change paragraph alignment
- On your calculator, open a certificate in Google Docs.
- Select the paragraph yous desire to change.
- At the top, choose an alignment option.
Change line & paragraph spacing
- On your computer, open a document in Google Docs.
- Select the lines you want to change.
- ClickFormat Line & paragraph spacing.
- Select a line spacing option:
- To change your paragraph spacing, click Unmarried, 1.xv, i.v, or Double.
- To change your spacing between paragraphs, click Remove space before paragraph or Add together infinite afterwards paragraph.
- To enter a custom size, click Custom spacing. Then, enter the size of the spacing you desire earlier and later a paragraph and click Apply.
- To keep paragraph headings and text on the same folio, click Keep with side by side.
- To keep all lines of text in the same paragraph on the same page, click Go along lines together.
- To prevent single lines at the beginning or terminate of paragraphs, click Forbid single lines.

Add fonts to your font list
In some languages, y'all tin add new fonts to your font listing.
- On your computer, open up a document in Google Docs.
- At the top, click the font name to open the font list.
- At the bottom of the listing, click More fonts.
- Scan or search for new fonts.
- Click a font to add it to your "My fonts" list.
- To sort your fonts or change how they appear in your list, employ the "Evidence" and "Sort" arrows.
- Click Ok.

Alter the font color
- On your computer, open up a document in Google Docs.
- Select the text yous want to change.
- Click Text Color .
- Select the color yous want.
Change the background or highlight color
- On your figurer, open a document in Google docs.
- Select the text you want to alter.
- Click Highlight Colour.
- Select the color you lot want.
